Eurostat counts all photovoltaic capacity, not only prosumers'; how much of it sits on rooftops differs from country to country. Current output comes from the transmission operators and may understate rooftop solar where it is not measured directly.
Where the figures come from

Installed capacity: Eurostat nrg_inf_epcrw; population: Eurostat demo_pjan; dataset updated on 9 October 2026. Current output: ENTSO-E Transparency Platform and national operators, the same measurements as on the country pages.
