It does run the other way, but barely: 716 MWh exported across the whole archive against 6,612 GWh imported in the same years — 0.011% of what comes in. The line effectively runs one way.

Andorra’s system is driven by snowmelt: hydro generated 15 times more in May 2026 than in September 2024.

Why the month matters and the year does not: annually, hydro comes out at a steady “close to two thirds” and looks like a stable base. Month by month it plainly is not — the spring peak and the late-summer trough are almost two different systems, and imports cover the difference.

Why this table matters more than the day above it: on 5 September the hydro plant was idle, and the day’s mix came out with no hydro at all. Over a year, hydro is close to two thirds of domestic generation. A country is not described by yesterday.
