Zones reporting: 33 of 40. Where we receive no data, the country stays uncoloured — not coloured at the minimum. Otherwise you could not tell a country with low demand from one we know nothing about.
Why the map is drawn on the server

The projection is Lambert conformal conic, with standard parallels at 40° and 65° north — the usual projection for Europe. Mercator would have been simpler, but it stretches the north: Norway would appear larger than Spain. On a map where area suggests importance, that misleads.

The outlines come from Natural Earth, public domain, simplified from 819 KB to 22 KB with no visible difference at this scale. A mapping library would have added 200 KB and a WebGL canvas for 39 static outlines — and the map would no longer have been indexable, nor visible before the JavaScript loaded.
