When electricity is cheapest
Pick the zone, the appliance and the duration. We tell you which continuous window costs least, from the quotes published for the next two days.
The appliance values are indicative. Real consumption depends on the model, the programme and the temperature — the fields stay editable.
How it is computed
The appliance starts at the beginning of a published interval and runs without interruption. The cost is the sum of the prices of every interval covered, weighted by how much of it is used — the last interval may be used partly, and is then paid for partly.
Windows that would cross a gap in the quotes are rejected. An average price computed over hours we have no quote for would be an invention.
Constant consumption is assumed throughout. A real cycle has peaks — heating the water in a washing machine, for instance — and the figure is the closer the more even the consumption is.
