Greensand Future a primit autorizația Energistyrelsen și duce Uniunea Europeană într-o eră nouă: primul depozit de CO2 la scară comercială devine operațional la mijlocul lui 2026, în zăcământul epuizat Nini Vest din Marea Nordului. Permisul acoperă până la 2,4 milioane de tone pe 30 de ani în prima etapă, cu potențial de 8 milioane de tone anual spre 2030; CO2-ul, capturat la Anvers, sosește cu nave la Esbjerg.
