Romania Renewables 7 Sept 2026 400 million lei for prosumers' batteries. Only one in three has storage Ministerul Mediului, the environment ministry, has put out for consultation a scheme paying up to 15,000 lei towards a prosumer's battery, capped at 1,250 lei per kWh. Of Romania's 359,378 prosumers, 127,084 already have storage.
Romania Market 6 Sept 2026 Romania is left without nuclear, and the price rose 18% in a single day Reported nuclear output fell from 624 MW to zero on 13 August, when Cernavodă's last unit shut down. The same day, the day-ahead market average rose 18.0%. Hydro, solar and lignite filled the gap — but most of it was covered by demand, which fell as well.
