Geotermia olandeză a produs în 2025 7,7 petajouli — de patru ori mai mult decât acum un deceniu — dar creșterea rămâne liniară, iar sectorul o spune deschis: cu subvenția actuală nu se ajunge la ținta de 80 PJ în 2050. Circa 30 de proiecte funcționează, mai ales în serele din Westland; alte vreo 70 stau în conductă.
