Hidroelectrica va modifica prețul energiei electrice începând cu luna octombrie 2026. Schimbarea îi va viza, pentru început, pe clienții noi și pe consumatorii ale căror contracte ajung la termen și trebuie reînnoite.

Miercuri, 16 septembrie, fără niciun reactor nuclear în funcțiune, România a consumat 128,3 GWh și a produs 113,9 GWh. Diferența a venit aproape toată din Bulgaria. La prânz, soarele a coborât prețul până la 11 €/MWh; la 20:15 ajunsese la 314 €.

Reported nuclear output fell from 624 MW to zero on 13 August, when Cernavodă's last unit shut down. The same day, the day-ahead market average rose 18.0%. Hydro, solar and lignite filled the gap — but most of it was covered by demand, which fell as well.
