Romania is left without nuclear, and the price rose 18% in a single day Reported nuclear output fell from 624 MW to zero on 13 August, when Cernavodă's last unit shut down. The same day, the day-ahead market average rose 18.0%. Hydro, solar and lignite filled the gap — but most of it was covered by demand, which fell as well.
