Malta Employers cere o strategie pe termen lung și un rol mai puternic pentru reglementator

Asociația Patronală din Malta (Malta Employers' Association) cere, pe 5 august 2026, un organism interministerial pentru coordonarea planificării infrastructurii și a investițiilor pe termen lung — electricitate, drumuri, sănătate, transport public și canalizare, în linie cu Viziunea Malta 2050 —, plus măsuri pe termen scurt: o campanie publică pentru un consum responsabil de electricitate, reforma subvențiilor energetice pentru a preveni consumul risipitor, o comunicare mai bună cu clienții în timpul penelor și un rol întărit pentru Reglementatorul pentru Energie și Servicii de Apă (REWS). Președintele Ivan Refalo: «Evenimentele recente au arătat importanța asigurării unei infrastructuri capabile să sprijine creșterea continuă a Maltei».
