About wind power
Wind keeps no timetable: output depends on the weather and can swing from almost zero to the installed maximum within the same day. That is why its chart looks unlike any other source — no daily cycle, with weather fronts that rise and fall within hours.
Where it exists, offshore generation is steadier than onshore: winds at sea blow more constantly. The figures here add the two together; the split appears when the source publishes it.
